Shipping Oil and Gas Production Separators
You move a production separator or a separation skid to a field, and the vessel is a large pressure vessel that ships out of gauge. Texas International Freight ships two-phase and three-phase separators, test separators, and skid-mounted production packages worldwide from the US Gulf as breakbulk and project cargo. What are you moving?
Separators We Ship
We ship horizontal and vertical separators, two-phase and three-phase units, test separators, free-water knockouts, and complete skid-mounted production packages. A large-diameter separator vessel runs long and heavy and ships as an out-of-gauge piece, while smaller skids can fit an open-top or flat rack. We plan the load and the securement around the vessel size and the nozzle and saddle layout.
How Separators Ship
Separators move on flat rack and open-top units, as breakbulk on a multipurpose vessel, or on a chartered vessel for a full production train. Our crews handle export packing, blocking and bracing, and lashing, and we run the package with related equipment such as degassers and gas compressor packages as coordinated project logistics.
To the Field and Customs
After discharge the vessel moves inland by heavy haul to the field, with route surveys and permits for the oversized load. Each shipment needs a commercial invoice, a packing list, a bill of lading, and a certificate of origin, and our customs broker desk clears the cargo at destination.

What separators do you ship?
We ship horizontal and vertical separators, two-phase and three-phase units, test separators, free-water knockouts, and complete skid-mounted production packages.
How does a large separator vessel ship?
A large-diameter separator runs long and heavy and ships as an out-of-gauge piece on a flat rack, an open-top, or as breakbulk on a multipurpose vessel, with securement planned around the saddle and nozzle layout.
Do you ship complete production skids?
Yes. Skid-mounted production packages ship whole where size allows, or as coordinated project cargo with the separators, degassers, and compression planned as one shipment.
Can you deliver to a remote field?
Yes. After the ocean leg the vessel moves inland by heavy-haul trucking, with route surveys and permits for the oversized load, to fields far from the coast.
What documents does the shipment need?
A commercial invoice, a packing list, a bill of lading, and a certificate of origin, plus an accurate Harmonized System code for each unit. Our customs desk prepares the set and clears the cargo.
