DDP, or Delivered Duty Paid, is the Incoterm that places the most responsibility on the seller. The seller delivers the goods to the named destination, cleared for import, with every cost and risk covered along the way: export clearance, main carriage, insurance, import duty, and taxes. The buyer simply receives the goods at the agreed place. It is the mirror image of EXW, where the buyer carries everything.
DDP gives the buyer a single landed price with no surprises, which suits buyers who want a hands-off purchase. The trade-off is that the seller takes on customs and tax exposure in a foreign country. Texas International Freight handles DDP moves and explains the shipping terms against alternatives like EXW.
